Careers at Amhage

Build the systems people stake their reputation on.

Our software is the record an engineer signs off on and a practice hands to an auditor. That raises the bar on everything we ship, and on everyone who ships it.

Project Manager

Own customer implementations from signature to steady state. Every Amhage platform replaces a workflow somebody already depends on, so a rollout is data migration, retraining, and trust rebuilt one conversation at a time.

View role

What you will do

  • Run implementations end to end. Scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and the weekly customer call. You are the single point of accountability for a rollout landing on time and actually being used afterwards.
  • Translate between worlds. Sit between an inspection firm's field crew, a practice manager, and our engineering. Turn "the report has to look like what the council expects" into a specification someone can build.
  • Own the onboarding record. Tenant provisioning milestones, training completion, sign-off documents, and the compliance artifacts customers need for their own auditors.
  • Close the loop on the product. Bring back what broke, what confused people, and what they asked for. In a company this size that feedback becomes the roadmap directly.
  • Build the playbook. You will run implementations without one, then write the one that makes the next ten repeatable.

What we are looking for

  • Five or more years managing software implementations or technical projects with external customers, not just internal initiatives.
  • Comfort in regulated environments. Healthcare, medical imaging, utilities, transportation, or industrial inspection all count. You understand why an audit trail matters.
  • Genuinely technical literacy. You do not need to write code, but you need to hold your own on tenant architecture, data migration, and integration constraints without hiding behind an engineer.
  • Written clarity. Most of this job is writing that removes ambiguity for other people.
  • The temperament for ambiguity. Early stage means the answer frequently does not exist yet and you are the one who has to go find it.

Helpful, not required

  • PACS, DICOM, or clinical imaging workflow experience.
  • NDT, asset integrity, or NASSCO PACP familiarity.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent, though we care far more about what you have shipped.

Send a short note about an implementation that went badly and what you did about it. That tells us more than a résumé does. Attach the résumé anyway.

Service Engineer

Keep customer environments alive. Amhage runs isolated per-tenant deployments on AWS, so this is not a helpdesk queue. It is deployment, integration, instrumentation, and figuring out why one tenant behaves differently from the other twelve.

View role

What you will do

  • Deploy and commission tenants. Stand up new customer environments, configure integrations, deploy agents and collectors, and verify the whole chain works before a customer ever logs in.
  • Own the health of the estate. Monitoring, backup verification, restore testing, certificate and version currency across every running tenant.
  • Diagnose in production. Read logs, trace a failure across a distributed system, isolate whether it is us, the network, or the customer's environment, and be honest about which.
  • Go on site when it matters. Some inspection and practice environments cannot be fixed remotely. You will be on a plane occasionally.
  • Automate yourself out of the repetitive parts. Anything you do three times should end up in a script, a runbook, or the provisioner.

What we are looking for

  • Five or more years in field service engineering, systems engineering, DevOps, or technical support for deployed enterprise software.
  • Real Linux competence. Not "I have used a terminal." You should be comfortable in systemd, journald, networking, TLS, and container runtimes.
  • Working knowledge of AWS. EC2, S3, IAM, KMS, and enough VPC to debug why traffic is not arriving.
  • Scripting to automate operational work. Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Customer-facing composure. You will be the voice explaining an outage to someone whose day you just ruined, and you will do it without deflecting.

Helpful, not required

  • Medical imaging or PACS field service. If you have commissioned a PACS at a hospital, you already know this job.
  • Security operations tooling, SIEM, EDR, or log pipeline experience.
  • Windows endpoint management, since a lot of customer estates are Windows.
  • FAA Part 107, relevant to AeryxIQ deployments.

Compensation and process

How this works.

Compensation is discussed openly in the first conversation, before either side invests time. We would rather find out in week one that the range does not work than in week six.

The process is short. An introductory call with the founder, a working session grounded in something real rather than a whiteboard puzzle, a conversation with a customer-facing scenario, and a decision. We aim to complete it inside two weeks and to tell you either way.
